Exquisite craftsmanship in European embroidery! This round handmade lace centerpiece has expert embroidery in a botanical bouquet of roses, daisies, and berries in wool thread on ivory cotton lace. It's openwork and airy, see-through, with satin stitching. It's so well made, the front and back looks nearly identical.

This piece measures 10.5 inches diameter. Condition is very good, looks and feels very fresh, with a hard-to-notice tea-colored mark above one of the yellow daisies, measuring about 1.5 x 1 inches. Probably of German origin or a nearby region.
