This luxurious Italian knit dress was made for Cadillac Knits in the mid-1960s, imported from Italy and then never sold. It's a long sleeved wool dress with the feel of a sweater knit in solid black with a diagonally ribbed & cabled bodice. The fit is classic and comfortable with gauntlet style banding to the wrists and A-line skirt in a border hem. A top quality beauty from deadstock with the original tag attached including a 1960s price of $95.00... this would be over $700 in today's dollars!
