1960s Cotton Print Fabric - 2.5 Yards Burgundy & Brown India Print - Continuous Yardage - 60s 70s Bohemian Grapes Angel Wings Novelty Print

$ 49.99

Rich burgundy purple batik style fabric is a bohemian cotton poplin fabric printed in frond-like angel wings, grape vines, and leafy flourishes. It's a single piece of fabric with a casually beautiful appeal, likely from India. One end of the yardage has a pennant shaped border print with wild birds in each triangle, while the other end has a narrow zig-zag stripe. These two ends are machine hemmed, while the opposite sides are selvedges.

Fine pure cotton, lightweight, ideal for a summer dress like a tropical sarong. Probably late 1960s or 1970s, easily utilized for an earlier look if desired.

Measures 2.5 yards long x 41.5 inches wide. Note that the first photo shows the fabric completely unfolded, with the left side of the fabric continuing off the end (outside of the camera's view).

Colors are burgundy raisin purple, copper brown, black, and offwhite.
