Picturesque library table lamp with trompe l'oeil shelves displaying beautiful antique books, candlesticks, Asian vases... even a pair of spectacles "sitting" atop a stack of books. Colors are primarily jade green, mauve pinks, lemon taupe, turquoise, black. Made in the late 1980s or early 90s.
Condition is excellent with shallow pitting/finish loss beginning to the brass plate at the horizontal area just below the lightbulb. This is seen in many places on the brass disk, but would be hard to notice when displayed with a lampshade. Wooden base has a scant few mild scratches, none noticeable when displayed. Small round sticker seen on underside appears to say "JJ".
Measures a total of 31 x 8 x 8 inches (including height of harp and finial) and has a 7-foot cord. Materials are glazed porcelain or ceramic with a cloisonne look and brass, with a dark finished wood base in Asian style. Working condition (see last photo for the lit-up bulbs), though we recommend testing with an electrician for safety as it's a used lamp. Ships without bulbs to avoid breakage.
