Quaint vintage bedding for your little angels! This all-cotton quilt has twelve panels, each showing a cheeky baby doing all kinds of fun activities... flying an airplane, swimming, riding a swan, dancing to the radio, reading a book...
Each panel is expertly hand-embroidered in pink on white cotton. Has a light bit of cotton batting inside. Panels are machine-sewn into place, and every edge is sewn by hand & detailed with petite acrylic yarn tufts. Made in the 1940s or early 50s.
Condition is clean but less than excellent, as there are old mildew dapples (none active) to about 1/3 of the piece, and a few subtle marks and scuffs that are somewhat noticeable (the most obvious is a dark gray smudge about 1/2 x 3/4 inches). Quilt measures 51 1/4 x 41 3/4 inches.
