This beautiful silk dress is a chic fitted design in vivid black & white florals, silhouetted in tulip-like clusters to the thin silk print. It's mid 1950s with classic darts, a trim waist seam and a flared A-line skirt. It's faced in faille to the bodice and a papery fiber lining to the skirt. Original silk tie belt included.

Barely worn, the neckline is beautifully altered from its original bateau line to an elegant V-neck in front, the skirt grows very gradually more beige toward the hem, this is not visible to the eye unless the lowest portion of the fabric is compared with the bodice, has approx 3-4 liquid marks to lower front skirt that are also scant and hard to notice, the skirt lining has a break and could be removed if desired
