Girl's party dress pattern from the late 1930s or early 40s, with a portait neckline, bertha rufle, basque bodice, and circular skirt in two possible lengths. This is a vintage sewing pattern, marked child size 8 (chest 26) at the edge of the paper flap. Priced 25 cents eighty years ago.

4 1/8 yards of 35-inch fabric required for View A or B dress (long), or
2 3/4 yards of 35-inch fabric required for View C dress (knee length).

Size is for a figure with measurements chest 26, waist 23, hip 28.

Unprinted pattern pieces were cut at the factory. All pieces present except #5 (ruffle) which could be reconstructed using edges of pieces 6 & 7 as a template. Original instructions present, envelope shows obvious torn corners, creases, and beige age dapples, with ink mark on 1930s price. Pattern arrives in a plastic sleeve, pattern pieces may be neatly stored in sleeve outside envelope.
