This 1950s full skirt is a folk style from boutique designer Nelly de Grab, an inventive fashion house of the 1940s & 50s. This cotton stripe skirt has broad pleats, carefully spaced to match the striped pattern, and a fitted waistband with diagonal bias cut. Buttons to the side in a casual style, made in the late 40s to early 50s.

Condition Detail
Lovely and just lightly worn, the waistband button is a bit different than the rest, the label has fray, the left side front has 5-6 rust colored tiny dots and a larger 1/4-inch dot (pictured on rose pink stripe) just behind the buttons on left, a similar area of discolor very well hidden on the navy blue stripe, overall shows its age a bit but very wearable

Washing Instructions
Cold hand wash, shape and dry flat, steam if needed or press on medium-high setting
