This 1920s cotton teddy has a square neckline in filet lace, with matching trim at the legholes. It has small frame to the shoulder & bust, while the cotton has billowy fullness and a buttoned crotch for practical use. This chemise was originally stocked in a Louisiana drygoods store that opened in 1911... it literally sat boxed on the shelf for a hundred years. Condition is fair/poor (see Condition Detail below).

Never worn, close to poor condition, has obvious beige and brown discoloration throughout, some areas with small holes throughout; would be lovely to replace the original cotton lawn with fresh fabric and use the original trims to restore the piece

Washing Instructions
Cold hand wash, shape and dry flat, press while damp on medium-high setting
