Boys 1930s Shirt - Size 14 Blue Striped Cotton Authentic 30s Teenager Long Sleeved Dress Shirt - Depression Era - Chest 37 Neck 13.5 - NOS

$ 79.99

This rare 1930s boy's shirt is a classic look from a hard-scrabble era with terrific details. It has a small point lapel, left chest pocket with matched stripes, and small gusset at the side seams of the shirt-tail hem. Has cuffed long sleeves and a high, shallow back yoke. Never worn from the shelves of a drygoods store that opened in 1911. Note that the first five photos show the item that's available, pinned as originally displayed ninety years ago, with the tissue and straight pins intact. The sixth photo shows another shirt by the same maker from the same inventory (in a different print), unpinned to display the lines of the garment.
