Size 10 1950s Wrap Dress - Terrific Black Corduroy Swing Era 50s Full Skirted Frock with White Rhinestone Lapel - Fit & Flare - Waist 28

Beautiful 1950s summer dress in a terrific fit & flare silhouette! It's black corduroy & white pique with a deep V neck to the wrap style bodice, and invert pleats to the full skirt. It has prong-set rhinestones studding the jagged notch lapel, and its original self corduroy belt with buckle front. This dress was deadstock but needed extensive restoration, so it's been washed and soaked (see Condition Detail below).

Condition Detail
Very fine, unworn but has been washed to remove extensive yellowing, none remains; the collar was removed from the dress for this restoration and then re-sewn by hand, label frayed during cleaning and was stitched back in place to minimize fraying; back of collar has a small repaired hole near the collar crease

Washing Instructions
Cold hand wash, hang to dry until damp, press on medium-high setting

To get actual fabric widths add two inches at the bust - one inch at the waist and two inches at the hip.
