A gorgeous 1950s silk evening dress in a peacock blue hue, this mid-century glamour gown has exquisite tailoring and hand-sewn details in fine turquoise silk. The fitted bodice has a high surplice neckline with brocade border, and the straight skirt has a flat front waist with light gathers to the sides. Skirt hem and left side slit has a matching brocade border, and its original self belt is included. Late 50s to early 60s.

Condition Detail
Very nice condition, has been just lightly worn, the under arms have a very slight hint of discolor and fray from perspiration, the inside bodice lining has similarly faint discoloration, lower front skirt has a single faint beige liquid outline at knee level about 2 x 1 inches, all so subtle they're hard to notice
