An opulent 1960s cocktail dress made of the very best materials, undoubtedly a couture design but alas, there is no label. This 60s strappy evening sheath has a plunging V panel of extravagant beadwork with gorgeous bohemian influrnce, showing solid metal coiled ropes, loops of fringe, metallic sequins and citrine rhinestones. The silhouette is a lilting A-line in chiffon over wool, with extensive hand-sewn details finishing at the silk lining, straps and petersham ribbon.

Looks excellent overall, freshly dry cleaned, the silk chiffon outer layer is a recent replacement of the original, the under layer of wool has 4 small repaired holes and a few very vague beige dots at lower right skirt, obscured a bit by the chiffon outer layer, the interior has mild yellowing to torso lining from perspiration and the zipper pull has enamel loss
