Unsurpassed quality from Mollie Parnis! This exquisite cocktail dress & jacket set is an early 1960s gem, in emerald green satin brocade with the finest details & finishing. The sleeveless dress wraps in back with a pert bow-accent belt, slight A-line skirt, and hidden pockets in the seams. The dress is fully faced in satin & silk organza, with a petersham waistband to the interior, brocaded with Mollie Parnis "signatures". Matching jacket has a short standing collar, cropped waist and 3/4 sleeves. Jacket is lined in satin and finished by hand. An exceptional set with an Audrey look from the early to mid 60s.

Beautiful condition, freshly dry cleaned, very faint graying to under arms of dress from light use, not noticeable when worn; the dress hem is altered and appears to have been lowered from its original length; the jacket's left sleeve has 3-4 tiny black picks to the brocade and both sleeve hems have small abraded areas at the crease of hem that would not be obvious now, but may eventually require shortening of the sleeves
