Exceptional 1950s cocktail dress with exquisite beadwork and a fit & flare silhouette, made for a 30-inch waist! This black silk party dress has a fitted bodice with velvet ribbon around the torso, richly beaded in glass beads and dangles, and Victorian inspired cord buttons of various sizes. It has half sleeves, a nipped waist, and bell-like skirt with invert-V pleats to the waist and a velvet ribbon banding the hem. Fully faced in silk organza with hand-finishing to the interior, much like a couture piece though there are no labels.
