This beautiful mid-1950s coat has the kind of Parisian appeal seen in imported fabrics and couturier houses of the era. It's an unlabeled winter coat with a broad shawl lapel nicked with petite notches at the shoulder. There are tapered long sleeves, hip notched waist pockets and a shallow wrap front. Has a pair of walking pleats at the sides hem, and it's lined in elegant stripes of Cinderella blue, black and steel gray satin.

Beautiful condition overall, possibly never worn as the side seam walking pleats are still basted closed; the lining has several areas of beige/brown liquid marks that are noticeable when you look inside, would be invisible to the outside
