This New Look corduroy dress has a chic silhouette from the late 1940s, so pert and perky with girl-next-door sophistication. It has a slit neck that may be worn as wing lapels, a U-shaped faux layered neckline and cap sleeves with a nipped waist. The A-line skirt is four panels to just below the knee. Late 40s to early 50s.

Shows its age a bit, has a single brown speck to the left neckline and a vague beige dot to right chest, similar marks to skirt (approx 3-4 scattered to lower front skirt and approx 15 to back skirt) with mild yellowed areas low to skirt and similar slight yellowing gradually tinted toward upper bodice, a cluster of gray scuffs just below the zipper, all somewhat noticeable

Cold gentle machine wash, tumble dry and hang, steam
