Very sophisticated from a high-end label of the 1960s! This evening dress has a jewel neckline with an illusion yoke and a sweetheart seam to the bodice lining. Has a fitted waist seam with a self belt, and a svelte wrap skirt with a self ruffled flounce from left waist to the curved front hem. Countess Alexander was based in New York until 1972; they dressed the gentry including two First Ladies during their most prominent years.

Overall pristine, looks unworn, the upper front skirt has a subtle patch to one teardrop, this is hard to see in the cut velvet and hard to notice
