A gorgeous evening dress from the 1930s, this ribbons print formal gown has a fluttery bandeau neckline, lines of ruching under the bust and a willowy bias-cut silhouette, so classic to this era - and so glamorous! The doubled ribbon shoulder straps taper toward the back, where there's a plunge neckline and a self bow accent. The skirt flares trumpet-like with a short center back slit at the hem.

Exceptionally nice condition, silk this old is generally fragile and should be worn with caution, though this fabric looks and feels intact; the shoulder straps are vintage replacements, the front torso has 5-6 tiny pinkish specks on one of the green/ecru ribbons, a single brown speck on goldenrod ribbon at bust, very hard to notice when worn
