Size 6 1940s 50s Suit - Grey Wool Tailored Jacket & Skirt - Flax Braid and Red Fringe - Paisley Corsage and Matching Flash Lining - Waist 26

$ 149.99

Such a chic mid-century suit! This 1950s lightweight wool ensemble is perfectly dashing for spring & fall, tailored in cross-woven grey suiting with crimson fringe and beautiful flecked braid in a rather militaristic design. The jacket is a hip-skimming cropped style with two braid-trimmed pockets and raglan sleeves that can cuff (as shown or much more deeply). Jacket lining is a brilliant scarf style paisley that matches the many-petaled corsage accent. Straight skirt has a fitted waistband and center back inverted box-pleat for walking ease, top-stitched with an arrow at the top.

Condition Detail
Beautiful condition, the jacket has a scant hint of a few beige specks to the lower left side, these are so vague and tiny they're essentially imperceptible on this heathered wool; the skirt has 6-7 carefully rewoven areas (largest is 1/8-inch) in random places, hard to notice when worn

Dry clean
