Size 6 1940s Suit Jacket - WWII Era Chocolate Brown Striped Summer 40s Short Sleeve - Velveteen Trim - Nip Waisted Office Wear - Waist 26

This 1940s jacket has a terrific look in sharp tailoring, budget priced as it's in less-than-excellent condition (see Condition Detail below). It's a nip-waisted design with a point lapel and faux chest pocket with chevron velveteen accents. There are cuffs to the short sleeves, original shoulder pads, and a trim hourglass silhouette. A great juniors size jacket from the mid-late 40s.

Condition Detail
Great for a costume, freshly dry cleaned, has vague tan/brown blushes of discolor at either side of the chest just below the shoulder pad area, similar marks between second and third buttonholes, a 1/2-inch mark low at right front just above the hem, and a noticeable similar area about 1 x 2 inches at left sleeve's cuff, and the general overall fabric's hue is a touch ecru compared to underside of collar
