A beautiful 1940s gabardine dress with terrific vintage details! This short sleeved 40s dress has a blunt point lapel, short cuffed sleeves and a right hip pocket corded with beautiful paisley pattern soutache. The buttons are wonderful smooth wood in a natural finish, with subtle "seams" that make them look like baseballs. Late 30s to early 40s. The belt is included and is nice quality leather, but it is later (made in the 1990s).

Very wearable, the color is evenly khaki, but under the sleeve cuff it's a more pinkish hue, the tops of the shoulders and neckline crease have mild beige toning, the belt is nice leather but not original, the lower left front skirt has two brown 1/4-inch dots that could be hidden if hemmed 6.5 inches shorter
Washing Instructions
Dry clean; or cold hand wash (omitting belt and buttons), shape and dry until damp, press inside out on medium-high setting
