This exquisite artisan style 1940s dress is a beautiful casual with an earlier 1930s appeal. It's short sleeved and sheer with Irish crochet lace in a charming ruffle to the front buttons & rimming the sleeves. The fit is classic 40s with a trim bodice, darted to the waist, and a slim A-line skirt in four gores. Has serged interior seams and hand-finished facings.

Condition Detail
Lovely, has belt loops but no belt, the hook/eye at left waist is a bit rusty, 2-3 tiny snags to the weave in the skirt that would be hard to notice, four penpoint holes at back neck (see seventh photo for a view of two of them), a tiny hint of beige along the lace at neckline, overall beautiful for its age

Washing Instructions
Cold hand wash, shape and dry until damp, press on medium-high setting
