Exquisite quality satin dress with romantic Victorian inspiration, made in the 1960s for a high-end boutique. This chocolate brown cocktail has a ballet neckline, and a fit & flare silhouette with a bell-like skirt edged in exposed lace to the hem. The seaming is all vertical, made to whittle the waist and fit the forearms with full sleeves that slim gauntlet style to the wrists. An exceptionally made dress, fully lined, with extensive hand-finishing.
