Fantastic 1940s rayon knit dress in rich cobalt blue, very see-through and alluring, just like a Hollywood style bombshell! This authentic 40s dress has cap sleeves with sexy decolletage to the scoop neckline, dotted with rhinestones, sequins, teardrop "gems" and faux pearls. Has a willowy, narrow silhouette that stretches generously in fluted openwork knit with marvelous texture, and a lean A-line flared skirt. Original ribbonwork knit belt included with a double-ring closure.

Very fine and barely worn, looks terrific inside and out, the small round black accents between the cabochon flowers are a bit wiry and fibrous-feeling, probably have been dry cleaned and had some trim loss due to this, foiled backs of cabochons have mild scratches
