1930s Kitchen Curtain Panels - Authentic 30s White Cotton Chenille Cheesecloth - Set 14 Pcs - 1 Pair, Another Pair, 3 More Pairs, 4 Tiebacks
$ 225.00
Rare 1930s white curtains in sheer cheesecloth with tufted chenille stripes, breezy and airy, originally for the kitchen. There are fourteen pieces in total. The first four photos show the group (with quantities available as noted on the photos). The inventory includes:
6 curtains with horizontal chenille stripe, each approx 37" wide x 34.5" high. Each has pom-poms to the sides and bottom, with a top pole pocket.
2 curtains with horizontal chenille stripe, each approx 37" wide x 42.5" high. Each has pom-poms to the sides and bottom, with a top pole pocket.
2 curtains with horizontal chenille stripe, each approx 37" wide x 25" high. Each has pom-poms to one side, with a top pole pocket.
4 tiebacks in the same fabric, each approx 16 to 18 inches wide at the band, with ruffles a bit wider.
Condition is good, shows a few brown dots here and there, many to the base of the pom-poms where they meet the attached strings, and some signs of pulling to the cheesecloth on the tiebacks, very few to the curtains themselves. They have an ecru cast generally, some of it uneven. They have been soaked and carefully washed by hand.
