Small Men's 40s Seahorse Shirt - 1940s Novelty Print Sea Horse Cotton - Blue Tiki Aquatic Casual - Short Sleeve Beach Top - Chest 44 - NOS

This terrific 1940s men's shirt is a sea horse novelty print in cool, breezy cotton, with an old school island style. It's an authentic 40s casual top for men with a shirt lapel, slit neckline and left chest pocket. The seahorses print and tiki stripe repeats front and back. This shirt was deadstock from a drygoods store that opened in 1911.

Condition Detail
Never worn, freshly soaked and washed here at Vintage Vixen to remove age toning, there is a subtle H-shaped area at the front from fading along the original fold lines (most visible at the head of one seahorse in main photo), and a similar slight fade at back neckline crease, a tiny speck of a hole to lower front waist, all slightly noticeable when worn; the label has a few small abrasions
