Size 4 1950s Black Dress - Glamour Girl 50s Cocktail with Ruched Domed Bell Skirt - Sexy 50's Fitted Bodice - Italian Provenance - Waist 25

A fantastic 1950s dress for a Marilyn style vixen! This exquisite black jersey knit dress has a svelte fitted bodice with a square neckline, sun dress style straps ruched to the back, and darts to fit. The skirt is heavily ruched in a bold, oversized zig-zag motif with almost a tiered effect, lined in taffeta with a wire rim encased in the bell-like hem. This dress is a rarity from an estate with loads of Italian fashion, as the family owned an Italian imports shop from the 1940s to early 60s. It is likely Luisa Spagnoli though there are no labels.
