Beautiful shotcloth cocktail dress with unusual details! This short sleeved 1950s dress darkly gleams in sapphire hued taffeta, with a ballerina-like bodice and classic A-line skirt. The details are in the skirt, where pleats are pinched in an even pattern to create a sculpted effect, and the back is richly accented with a heavily gathered taffeta tie and flared swag. Really lovely, really unique!

Condition Detail
Very nice overall, the right sleeve has a single penpoint hole and the left sleeve has 2-3 smaller ones, the right under arm has a 1/2-inch pull to the weave and a tiny hole here with 2-3 scant similar pulls just adjacent, the taffeta is very slightly shiny to the sleeves and inside facing
