So very fantastic to find this *large* vintage chenille area rug! It's a full 72 x 48 inches... that's 4 x 6 feet in elegant curves of soft pink cotton chenille, patterned with raised flourishes and sweet flowers. A marvelous floor covering for a femme bedroom with old Hollywood style.
Label says "CALLAWAY MILLS/ REG US PAT OFF/ GUARANTEED FAST COLORS/ MADE IN U.S.A.'.
Condition is excellent, freshly washed, with minimal use and no chenille loss. The top side has the faintest scant hints of gray from normal use, hard to perceive. The underside is a heavy offwhite cotton and has faint blue lines throughout that are from the factory, and are probably an outline of the original design.
