Encrusted in beautiful beadwork! This 1940s formal handbag is a curvaceous trapezoid with a tapered flap front and a single over-the-arm strap. It's a mid 40s purse with a sturdy oblong base and satin lining.

Quite worn but wearable; approx 10 beads missing & threadbare edges to flap, 3 missing to edge of base, the strap is missing about 2/3 of its beads and zig-zag stitching shows in its place, the taffeta is faded most obviously at top, less so to sides
