1940s Vegetable Patch Rayon Scarf by Marcel Vertes for Wesley Simpson - 40s Surreal Spring Novelty Print - Chartreuse Green Pink Orange Face

$ 395.00

Surreal 1940s novelty print rayon scarf has the look of a Schiaparelli ad, found to be a Marcel Vertes scarf printed by Wesley Simpson. It's a rare and wonderful showcase of a quiet face amidst colorful vegetables in vivid spring hues that were popular the early 40s. This same design was showcased recently at the Fashion & Textile Museum of London... truly a museum worthy find.
