Such a special 1950s brooch, in the shape of a miniature umbrella with attached carpet bag! Both pieces are metal with micro needlepoint roses exquisitely sewn, and attached to each other with a tiny metal cord. Reminiscent of a certain British nanny, and absolutely adorable with a Victorian feel.

Condition Detail
Very fine, the base of the umbrella handle and a bit of the purse handle have matte grayish corrosion, hard to perceive; the needlepoint has two almost imperceptible glue hints from the original making, almost completely invisible and expertly done
