Terrific colors in 1950s barkcloth fabric, ideal for mid-century upholstery or drapes. This authentic 50s yardage is a large quantity of uncut fabric in classic barkcloth texture, depicting urns, flourishes, and abstract andirons and similar wrought iron style scrollwork.

Measures 199 inches long x 43.5 inches wide. Equivalent to 5.52 yards. Condition is excellent, freshly washed, with a single gray liquid oval about 1 x 2 inches located a few inches in from the selvedge, and we found a very faint wavy orange line a few inches long. Note that the print has speckles that look like sponging and are original to the print, not a flaw.

Colors are ivory with beautiful quality screen print in copper orange, goldenrod yellow, robin's egg blue, smoke gray, and black.
