This authentic antique christening gown has hand-sewn embroidery and many tucks with a grand sweeping skirt, buttoned in the back. It has long sleeves and a ruff style collar with a jagged ruffle hem.

Nice for its age and very wearable for a christening, has a very small hole at the back of either sleeve (one is amateurly repaired), two 1/4-inch or smaller holes at right chest (one hidden underneath the collar) that have been patched with a white iron-on from behind, one 1/8-inch hole low to left front skirt
