This deadstock 1940s swimsuit would be excellent for display, great for pattern copying. It has a ruffled bustline with pieced bust cups, a string halter tie and maillot silhouette with princess seams. Never worn from the 40s, unfortunately dry-rotted with potential for clever uses.

Condition Detail
Never worn, back left panel is dry-rotted and ripped from neckline edge to crotch, front has tears near crotch and rest of suit appears dry rotted as well, zipper is stuck, very subtle reddish discolor to bust area, best for display or pattern copying

Washing Instructions
Warm hand wash, shape and dry flat, steam if needed
