A rare child's aviator hat from the 1920s or early 30s! Charles Lindbergh crossed the Atlantic in 1927, and this wonderful memento of the era was made in the years just following. It has a two-tone effect to the curved cotton, with 'AVIATOR' and a pair of wings across the front, held with enamel grommets. Has tapered tabs that snap under the chin. Never worn! From a drygoods store that opened in 1911.

Condition Detail
Never worn, best for display, has four tiny abraded holes on the 'AVIATOR' ribbon and the ribbon itself has mild beige discolor, the underside of the snap is rusty and will not close due to this, has been brushed and vacuumed but overall slightly dusty from sitting in storage for nearly 100 years

Washing Instructions
If needed, cold hand wash, shape and dry flat, steam if needed
