This charming rural scene has an equestrian theme, with a blacksmith and tack shop next to P & R McIntyre's big blue barn. There's also an art studio nestled into the charming landscape, with chickens, horses and carriages to the foreground, and a fox hunt going on in the background.
Needlepoint and embroidery is likely a wool & acrylic blend yarn; colors are burnt orange, rusty red, custard yellow, olive greens, spring green, wedgwood blue and flag blue, black, and white. It's all executed by hand from a kit from Dimensions, dated 1989.
The needlepoint rectangle measures 20 x 10.75, and the entire canvas measures 24.5 x 15 inches. Condition is near mint with a few tan dots on the plain (non-stitched) canvas border that would be hidden from view when framed.
