This unusual 1940s full slip is a special find, with a ribbon halter tie, sheer stretch lace bustline, and mid-40s silhouette with light ruffles at the sides waist. It's a gentle hourglass design with a soft A-line flare to the skirt, lightly elasticized to back bodice. The halter ties could be worn as shown, or tucked in to convert to strapless. So beautiful from World War II era, originally a slip, potentially a dress today if worn with an opaque under-layer.

Barely worn and in lovely condition, the ends of the ribbon ties have normal fray, the elasticized back panel is still stretchy but probably not as snappy as new, the lower front skirt has 3-4 tiny slightly lighter specks that are hard to notice

Warm hand wash, shape and dry flat, store folded
