A classic coat with such genteel details! This exceptionally made men's wool coat looks like an early 1950s design, though its labels date it at least decade later, possibly even into the 1970s. It has a deeply notched lapel with a boutonniere buttonhole, a single-breasted front, and vertical waist pockets. Interior satin-rimmed pockets are many and well-finished, with access to the outer pockets from the lining. Trench style leather buckles detail the wrists. This coat was custom-tailored for a haute department store with 150-year history, hand-finished with expertly hand-worked buttonholes. It's half-lined with a center back vent and bound satin finishing. Sublime quality!
