1950s black cocktail dress is a gorgeous design with a fit & flare silhouette! This 50s chiffon party dress has a goddess-inspired diagonal swath of gathers across the asymmetric bodice, with a shoulder fall at the left, ending in black ostrich feathers. The bodice is fitted, and the full skirt has knife-pleats all round. The skirt is three layers - sheer chiffon, a taffeta lining and black tulle for fullness. Original Elinor Gay hangtag attached from deadstock!
