Charming Victorian nightgown in a picturesque design, with scalloped arches along the yoke, hand-gathered ruching, and cloth covered buttons. This antique nightgown dates to the late 1890s or early 1900s, both feminine and utilitarian, with crochet lace alongside flat-felled seams for durability. It has exquisitely hand-sewn details... every seam, every inch is sewn by hand... it appears even the top-stitching.

Clean and fresh, has small holes and stains as follows: throughout the front, there is either a small hole or a stain every 6-8 inches in a rather grid-like pattern, the largest is just over 1/4 inch just below the front waist (see 7th photo), approx 8-10 tiny holes to lower back skirt, a single brown dot (less than 1/2-inch) at left hip and a smattering of similar brown marks to top of right sleeve (one has a small hole), two of the buttons' fabric is a threadbare to less than 1/2 its face

Cold hand wash, shape and dry flat, press on medium-high setting
