Size 4 1960s Leather Jacket & Matching Mini Skirt - Mod Beatnik Street Chic Brown Coat Set - Tailored 3/4 Length 60s Outerwear - Waist 25
1960s brown leather coat is a hipster classic, with its original matching mini skirt! This edgy leather set was made in the mid-late 60s with top stitched details, and a separate buckle-front belt to both pieces. The coat has a rugged feel with a notched lapel, double breasted front, and matching brass buttons dotting the belt loops. Mini skirt has an A-line silhouette with tapered waist. Both pieces have vertical pocket just below the waist, and both are fully lined. A really nice set from 1960s Sweden, hard to find as a duo like this.

Quality caramel brown leather with a fine top grain, supple and flexible, with natural darker and lighter patina from the original dyeing; tan synthetic faille lining; brassy metal buckles, half-sphere buttons, and dark hexagonal metal grommets
Center front brassy buttons on jacket, neck to hip, with bound leather buttonholes and functional brassy metal buckle; skirt has metal side seam zipper with functional brassy metal buckle front belt
Very wearable, feels comfortably broken in, the leather has slightly darker and lighter areas, and occasional darker marks that are original from the factory and are meant to be beautiful patina, not a flaw; the uppermost inch of back collar is darkened from use; belt loops on coat are curled at edges; brass is beautifully darkened with age; pink ink and yellowing to the skirt labels; very subtle hanger clip impressions to the skirt waist, hard to notice at all and would be hidden by belt when worn
