Worthy of a red carpet! This beautiful designer evening gown was part of a Bill Blass collection from the late 1970s to early 1980s. It's a goddess-like gown with a classic column silhouette, exquisitely cinched at the waist with silk crepe hand-gathered into a bold rectangular buckle. It has long sleeves with functional buttons & loops at the wrist, and a slim formal skirt with a dramatic black velvet insert at center front. It's impeccably finished with extensive hand-finishing to the hems, buttons and couture-quality pleating. Fully lined.

Looks excellent at first glance and overall it is near-mint, has two tan specks at right sleeve's upper arm, they are about 1/8-inch each and slightly noticeable due to their location, label and hem have been re-sewn in places, buckle has a hairline but no breakage or cracking
