Size 4 Designer Cocktail Dress - 1950s Black & Pink Silk Chiffon Beauty by Lillie Rubin - Exceptional Quality and Design - Bust 33.5 -

This exquisite 1950s cocktail dress is layers of black & pink silk chiffon, in fabrics & finishing apropos of a couture house. It's a Lillie Rubin designer dress with a decollete` scoop neckline and Empire bust in floral embroidered lace, with fluffy ruffles rimming the neck and cap sleeves. The willowy torso and flared skirt is bias-cut silk in two layers of black chiffon, then one layer of pink, and a final narrow A-line lining in crisp pink silk crepe. Fantastic design from the mid-late 50s.
