This sheer 1940s dress is a lovely find with a print of crescent shapes, like fish scales on see-through nylon. It's a short sleeved summer frock with a shirtwaist bodice, tucked front, tabbed glass buttons on the cuffs, and a Peter Pan collar. There are shirred lines at the front waist, hip pockets with curved flaps, and a flared skirt. Made in the late 40s to early 50s with the original self belt included.

Lovely and freshly washed, a few seams have been re-sewn invisibly, the right front shoulder has four 1/4-inch beige dots that are likely diluted rust, hard to notice when worn; the belt is just slightly beige as well; an occasional isolated pick/pull to the nylon, none of which are noticed when worn

Washing Instructions
Warm hand wash, shape and dry flat, steam if needed
