Authentic 1930s sheer dress with its original slip, wonderful to find with such charming detail! This short sleeved navy blue 30s voile dress has puffed short sleeves, ribbon bands at the closure, and a slim chiffon collar. There are terrific bow-shaped buttons at front, triple darts at the waist, and a seven-gore slim A-line skirt. Original bias-cut satin slip included.

Dress is in beautiful condition, has an expert alteration that is essentially "invisible" where the center front was re-seamed to remove fume fading from its original buttons; the plastic bow buttons are original to the 1930s but replacements of the originals that had deteriorated; the slip has several round amber colored areas of fume fading due to the same issue that would be obscured when worn under the dress; dress has belt loops but no belt
Washing Instructions
Dry clean in a net bag, preferably by a dry cleaner experienced with vintage clothing
