All the best details in these terrific 1940s peep-toe sandals! They're hand-carved 40s platform shoes with vividly painted scenes showing a tiki hut and arching tree overhead. The uppers are finely woven straw with peach cotton trim & criss-cross wrapping to the ankles.

Condition Detail
Barely used, the edges of wood have minor paint chips and occasional nicks, most of the studs that join uppers to wooden soles have some rust, two with minor rusty hue to nearby fabric, size is hand-inked to outsoles, nothing obvious when worn
