XS 1940s Pink Silk Dress - Gorgeous 40s 50s Sailboat Novelty Print - Off Shoulder Summer Frock - Coral Green Blue Yellow - Waist 24.5

$ 165.00

Exquisite late 1940s pink silk dress, made by a local dressmaker for an Italian imports shop that closed in the early 1960s. This dress was worn by one of the sisters who owned the shop, and it's created of Italian silk in a delightful summer novelty print of sailboats & billowing clouds. The winsome fitted bodice has a broad scoop neckline, cinched bust, and brief ruched sleeves that can be worn off-shoulder. The full skirt has narrow box pleats to the waist, and its original self buckle-front belt. An exceptional find... and we have 4 more yards of this fabric from the same shop, uncut and unused, as of the time of posting.
